Travel Grants
(Deadline for application: march 15 and September 15)
A limited number of travel grants is available to help fund travel for
assistant, associate and full professors to
present papers at conferences on subjects relating to Chinese studies.
Applications for these travel grants should be accompanies by a letter from
the chairman of the university or college department with which the applicant
is affiliated.
Travel grants, up to a maximum of $1,000, are for travel and hotel costs
not reimbursed by the conference organizer.
Each university's department is limited to one application per year.
Applications should include a brief (one page) summary of the paper to be
delivered and budget request. Applications should be filed before
September 15, or March 15 for conferences to be held during the following
six month period.
