Subsidies for Publication

(Deadline for application: March 15 and September 15)

Publishers, such as university presses, may apply for subsidies for the publication of scholarly works related to the goals of the Foundation. The publication may be in the form of a book or a monograph. Applications will be accepted for specific completed books and not for books still unwritten or for books in a series.

Supporting documents should include reviewers' comments and publishing costs. Publication subsidies usually range between $5,000 to $10,000. For further details, please contact the Foundation's North American Office.

Academic societies may apply for grants to subsidize the publication of the first two issues of a new periodical. The application for the publication of conference proceedings requires a finished, edited draft with commentary.
