Grants for Assistant, Associate and Full Professors
(Deadline for application: October 15)
A one-year grant is available for assistant, associate, and full professors.
The grant would provide up to $45,000 to help replace half of
the salary of
faculty on sabbatical or for time off for research and writing.
If grants from other sources are also awarded to the applicant,
the Foundation's grant, added to the others, should not exceed the recipient's
annual salary.
Applications should be accompanied by a letter of recommendation from
the chairman of the department or from the university or college's dean
or provost. Only a limited number of these grants are available.
